Every 5 minutes from the main road you can pick up a public Dolmus minibus to take you to the Fethiye, renowned for its beautiful sunsets, or 15 minutes to Fethiye harbourside, marina, shops, bars and restaurants. There you can also try a traditional Turkish bath (Hamam) in the old town centre, or take one of the many inexpensive daily 12 Island boat trips from the harbour.
Only 30 minutes away through scenic mountains to the resort of Hisaronu, or the 'ghost' town of Kaya Koy, or the beautiful blue lagoon and beach resort of Oludeniz. You can also go horse riding and hiking, or try tandem paragliding from Babadag mountain at Oludeniz. And less than an hour's bus ride away is the fantastic gorge at Saklikent for a great day out or the ancient Lycian remains at Tloss. There is also the main Tuesday market in Fethiye near the town centre, or the Sunday market in the centre of Calis, and of course, there are also many other interesting places to visit.
And if you want to have a day off from sight-seeing, don't forget that you can always just spend a relaxing day chilling out with a drink on the balcony or taking a refreshing dip in the pool.
The transfer time from Dalaman Airport to the Apartment is approx 45 minutes through the mountains.
