The villages of Hisaronu and Ovacik are set on a 1000ft plateau above sea level and are bordered by Mount Babadag. The views from the villages are breathtaking, miles and miles of pine clad mountains. The villages benefit from a cooling breeze during the hot summer months which comes from the nearby lagoon of Olu Deniz ( The most famous and photographed beach in Turkey).
